It means a person stays accountable for the guidance your student acts on. quaia does the continuous work: scoring the profile against 10 criteria, matching colleges, giving essay feedback, tracking deadlines. Our Chief Counselor sets the standards it works to and reviews how it performs, and the judgment calls that should not be automated stay with our counseling team. On the Max plan that oversight becomes direct, through live sessions with a dedicated counselor.

Yes. You can't sign up on your own, your parent or guardian creates the account first and adds you from their dashboard. Once they've done that, you'll get your own login to use day to day.
That's fine, "Undecided" is a valid answer. quaia adjusts your guidance and matches as your interests become clearer over time.
That depends on the school. Some colleges directly ask whether you used AI assistance, and if yours does, answer honestly. quaia coaches and gives feedback, it doesn't write your essays for you, so what you submit is genuinely your own work either way.

mynugen collects the information behind your child's 10-criteria profile: academics, test scores, extracurriculars, leadership, essays, recommendations, and more. Your child can see all of it. By default, your parent dashboard shows activity, summaries, and safety flags, not the verbatim text of their quaia conversations, so they stay comfortable being open with quaia. You can request the complete record for your child at any time.
We never sell your child's data, and we never share it with colleges or advertisers. The providers that help us run the platform, hosting, payments and similar infrastructure, are bound by contract to use that data only to provide the service to you, never for their own purposes.
